Bedford Fall Knittreat 2011 Schedule
The classes will begin on Friday morning at 9:00 am. Class sessions will be Friday morning, Friday afternoon, Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon and Sunday. Classes are approx. 2 1/2 - 3 hours in length. Each person will have a half day class with Claudia McClean, from Claudia Hand Painted Yarns and with Kathy Zimmerman and you may also select up to 3 of the 6 "electives" listed in the class schedule, a total of 5 classes. The classes with Claudia and Kathy will be scheduled on Friday and Saturday mornings. The “elective” classes will be offered on Friday and Saturday afternoons and on Sunday morning. You may choose fewer classes if you prefer to have some "free" time.

The weekend schedule is as follows:
Thursday:
Arrive on Thursday, Nov. 4 by 6:00 pm.; check in at hotel front desk.
Come to the registration area and receive your welcome packet.
7:30: Welcome reception with wine, a light meal and a chance to get acquainted. Meet your teachers, friends, pick up your goodie bag with yarn needed for the weekend and let the knitting begin!
Friday:
8:00-9:00: Breakfast buffet
9:00: Morning class session
11:45: Stretch and renew yoga (in your classroom)
12:30-1:30: Lunch buffet and time to shop
2:00: Afternoon class session with a coffee/tea/cookie break
6:00-7:00: Dinner buffet & Fashion show
Evening, free time, time to shop, visit, and a “knit-in”
Saturday:
8:00-9:00: Breakfast buffet
9:00: Morning class session
11:45: Stretch and renew yoga (in your classroom)
12:30-1:30: Lunch buffet and time to shop
2:00: Afternoon class session with a coffee/tea/cookie break
6:00-7:00: Dinner buffet
7:15: A fun filled evening; a fiber swap and raffle (details to follow) and of course, plenty of free time to knit.
Sunday:
Sleep in or get up early and knit!
8:00-9:30: Breakfast Buffet & check out
9:30-12:30: Sunday class session, Last minute shopping.
Claudia Hand Painted Yarns will have a beautiful display of her many yarns that usually are only seen at trade shows and will also feature a trunk show. Kathy Kreations and Dancing Leaf Farm will be displaying their yarns, patterns and other fun things throughout the weekend. In case you happen to forget something, there will be supplies available for purchase. Barbara Assejew, AmberStudios.com, will also showcase and offer her designs and kits. Everyone will be invited to participate in one stretch and renew session, offered in your classroom, by Barbara Grossman. Participation is not required.
Please bring your whole yarn bag to the retreat; complete with several sizes of needles, crochet hooks, scissors, measuring tape, tapestry needle, row counter, etc., and a spinning wheel if you care to! Additional materials for the play session can be brought with you, see class description for suggestions. And don’t forget to bring a garment or 2 for our fashion show and tell! Sarah will be on hand to model yours if you are shy!
